Differently from the XLR, the Racing Speed has oversize aluminium hubs and the innovative spoke anti-rolling system created by Fulcrum, which guarantees consistently the maximum aerodynamic penetration of the aero spokes. The aluminium hubs have an oversize flange on the right side of the rear wheel, to guarantee the highest level of reactivity and minimise energy loss in the transmission of power from the pedal to the wheel. The Racing Speed is always stable, even at high speeds, thanks to the integrated balancing system in the rim.
